Dear Peng,
On Wednesday, Feb 2nd, I went to a formal function. The function was hosted by the Malaysian Student Department and the Government on Malaysia. We, as Los Angeles, were in a teleconference with Najib together with 6 other countries such as Abu Dhabi, Seoul, Warsaw, Quangzhou, Perth and Vancouver.
I went because ,somehow, my name had given as one of the attendees. However, I wasn't annoyed. I knew that there was going to be free food and the food was going to be great.
And, of course, the food was superb. Hotel food mah.....=)
After dinner, at 11pm Los Angeles time, we started the teleconference. The teleconference was mainly about Chinese New Year and bringing prosperity to Malaysia.
Well, I somewhat listen because it was quiet interesting but at the same time it didn't seem that crucial.
Oh well~~ at least there was free food. As you said, right ..Peng...if there free food, its worth staying.
